All projects labeled ‘youth initiative’ are organised by ambitious youngsters with thesupport of the city of Antwerp.

By analogy with a project in Sweden, we give students the opportunity to discover and develop their passions (and talents). Schools are supported to work with students to seek their passions (inside and outside the school). They are then given time and opportunities to further develop their passions.

How does a budget in a city like Antwerp function? How is revenue generated and what is the expenditure? How does this jigsaw puzzle fit? What is important to us as a city and what consequently needs our expences? How do youngsters do this? What is important to them? Where do they spend their money?
